The inspiration for our Assassin Jacket came from 16th-century Italian Renaissance doublets. With this project, we wanted to focus primarily on aesthetics, highlighting the elegance and distinctive flair of historical Italian tailoring.
Designed for every HEMA practitioner, regardless of experience level, the jacket is especially suited for training with lighter simulators such as sabres, sideswords, or arming swords. However, during training we recommend using additional protective overlays such as Vectir, PRO, or Shell.
The white-and-red jacket (standard version), slightly extended with a peplum, features decorative shoulder wings inspired by Renaissance fashion. Decorative trims are placed on the front, back, and shoulder wings. The elbows include attachment points for additional covers, while the back features a waist adjustment strap.
The Assassin Jacket is made from 350N fabric. It features a double closure system (Velcro and zipper), and the collar is equipped with a blade catcher. The irregular peplum slightly covers the upper thighs.
Thanks to its design, padding, and lining, it resembles our Renaissance Doublet 350N. Like the doublet, it is lightweight and provides full mobility during HEMA training.

The "350N", “800 N” and “HEMA GEAR” marks are not equivalent or susbstitute for “FIE-CE” certification. Depending on fields of applications, additional personal protective equipment may be necessary according to the specific regulations for that activity.
