French Blunderbuss Pistol, Espingole, 18th Century, Replica

Decoration pistol with articulated mechanism
– NOT FUNCTIONAL –

Replica of a French blunderbuss pistol from the 18th century (ca. 1760), also known as an espingole or tromblon pistol. This large flintlock pistol featured a distinctive flared muzzle that facilitated the loading of shot into the barrel. In the Age of Sail, this firearm enjoyed great popularity with naval forces and pirates alike.

This muzzleloader replica is made of metal and resin (imitation wood) – materials that guarantee its durability. The stock and all metal elements (barrel, lock plate, hammer and trigger) are richly adorned.

Our firearm replicas are solely intended for re-enactment and decorative purposes. Although the mechanism is fully articulated, this reproduction is not capable of firing. The ramrod cannot be pulled out.

A beautiful item for every collection and an indispensable accessory for re-enactors.
