Side plates to mount on SPES Shell Caps Made of durable styrogum in a leaf shape with rounded sides. SPES side wings can be mounted to knee caps with rivets attached to the set. Material and its construction makes possible to easily form the plates into different shapes, depending on individual needs. This ensures even better protection during HEMA training.
How to mount HEMA side wings to "Shell" knees Place a plate on an elastic strap from your guard (by pulling a strap through an opening) to mark a place for making an opening2. Make a 4-5 mm opening3. Place a plate on plastic guard once again4. Mount a side wing to guard with washers and rivets5. Wings can be mounted on both sides of your guard in the same way6. If needed, change the shape of side wings by curving their edges outside
