1854 Volcanic Pistol, Brass and Faux Mother-of-Pearl, Replica

Product information "1854 Volcanic Pistol, Brass and Faux Mother-of-Pearl, Replica"

1854 Volcanic Pistol, Brass and Faux Mother-of-Pearl, Replica

Decoration pistol with articulated mechanism
– NOT FUNCTIONAL –

Faithful replica of a Smith & Wesson Volcanic pistol Model No. 2 produced from 1854 to 1855. Volcanic pistols and rifles were the first lever-action repeating arms with toggle-lock. This locking system was further used by the Winchester Company.

Our reproduction of this Western pistol is a special edition that looks particularly classy. It has handle scales made of resin (imitation mother-of-pearl) that beautifully contrast with the brass-coloured barrel and frame. The blackened firing mechanism and the engraved plant motifs that adorn the frame provide the finishing touch. Like the original , this replica is equipped with a repeating lever that can be moved and secured, so it can be cocked and triggered.

Our firearm replicas are solely intended for re-enactment and decorative purposes. Although the mechanism is fully articulated, this reproduction is not capable of firing.

This Western gun is not only a great item for every collection, but also an indispensable accessory or prop for cowboys, bounty hunters and American Frontier re-enactors. A true gem for Wild West fans!
