Fully battle-ready reconstruction of a late medieval bascinet of the 14th Century with folding Klappvisor. The bascinet evolved in the early 14th Century from the cervelliere and was usually worn together with a chain mail shirt. At the bottom our reconstruction has drilled brass buttons where an aventail easily can be attached. The helmet is equipped with an artfully and hand-driven visor from 2mm steel. Both helmet-halves are hand-driven from 2mm strong steel sheet, cleanly welded and polished. A high class, adjustable padded liner is riveted into the helmet. Battle-ready!
